Cartwheels

A repressive father holds an iron grip over his wife and daughter. On the edge of adulthood, her independence begins to challenge, trouble and excite her father. A chance visit from his brother, long-estranged, throws this precarious family balance into turmoil. The father feels threatened and instinctively protective of his blossoming daughter and when the brother shows signs of interest in the daughter, the father's passions are aroused. Before long he is convinced of ill-doing and struggles with his own inner demons, determined to protect his daughter and fearful of letting her blossom into a woman. As tensions bubbles to the surface, it's inevitable that nothing good can come of this unexpected visit.
